He is the developer who never sleeps, please go and tell him that he's awesome!ĭuring this journey, I have made a lot of friends and all of them have been extremely kind and helpful throughout. has helped me since my first PR and went beyond his way to help me out with setting up the modified Rocket.Chat server and my demo would not have been possible without him.

Sing Li's code reviews and suggestion has definitely made me a better developer and I would forever be grateful to him.(The Link to the Rocket.Chat server with the GitHub App and Code Editor integration will be mentioned in the comments.)ĭebdut C. Although the Editor has not been merged in the main code base, I will working towards perfecting it in the coming months. When he proposed the idea of adding a Code Editor to review PR's inside Rocket.Chat, it almost seemed impossible, given the huge code base, dependencies and time constraints, but we were able to pull it off at the last moment. He has taught me the importance of thinking beyond what has been done, pushing the limits even if the task at hand seems impossible and communicating with other developers. Sing Li has been an amazing mentor and teacher throughout my Rocket.Chat journey. I will be linking his Medium articles and GSoC material in the comments. His suggestions and guidance has been invaluable throughout.

He taught me how to own the project and keep up with the deadlines. At the time I had no idea that I would even be considered for the program and that he would be mentoring me in GSoC ( still feels like dream :) ). I contacted Rohan Lekhwani almost a year ago, asking for help with contributions at Rocket.Chat and he was extremely helpful. During this period, I worked on the GitHub Rocket.Chat App which is a GitHub integration for Rocket.Chat that enables developers to use GitHub functionality inside Rocket.Chat and pushes developer collaboration to the next level. I am glad to announce that I have successfully completed my Google Summer of Code project under Rocket.Chat.
